Information you provide
The demo form collects your name, email address, and phone number so Clara can review and follow up on your request. Submitting the form asks Clara to contact you about that request; it does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
Device, visit, and request information
The demo page creates a persistent random browser identifier in local storage and a separate identifier for each page visit. It sends the page URL, referrer, time zone, language, platform and device indicators, browser privacy and cookie settings, hardware and memory indicators when available, screen and viewport dimensions, and network-connection indicators with the form.
The demo endpoint also records a 30-day security trace cookie, IP and forwarded-IP information, user agent and selected browser request headers, origin and referrer, request identifiers, and country, region, and city values supplied by the hosting platform. It derives limited fingerprints from the contact, browser, and request data to correlate requests and investigate abuse.
Website purposes and disclosures
- To receive, review, and respond to a demo request.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and measure the website and form.
- To detect duplicate, automated, or abusive requests and investigate reliability or security events.
- To send an internal demo-request alert through Clara's configured notification provider, when enabled.
The demo endpoint writes the submitted contact details, client context, IP/geolocation, user agent, referrer, and request metadata to hosting logs. When an alert webhook is configured, contact details and request metadata are also sent to that notification provider for operational follow-up. Demo information is not used to approve or decline a borrower, select a lender, or make an automated credit decision.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is configured on the homepage, company page, and demo page to measure site use. Google may receive device, browser, page, interaction, and network information under its own service terms and privacy controls.
Microsoft Clarity session analytics load only after you choose Allow analytics. Clarity may process device and browser details, pages viewed, and on-page interactions to provide session analytics. Ad storage is always denied. Form, contact, and illustrative borrower-data regions are explicitly masked, and no content is deliberately unmasked. Your Clarity choice is stored in your browser and can be changed through Analytics settings.
Website providers and cross-border processing
Clara uses Vercel to host and operate the public website and demo endpoint, Google Analytics for site measurement, Microsoft Clarity for consented session analytics, and an operator-configured notification provider for demo alerts, such as Slack when a Slack webhook is configured. These providers process information on Clara's behalf under their own infrastructure, security, and retention arrangements.
Website, analytics, and notification information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where a provider operates and may be subject to the laws of those places.
Website storage and retention
The browser identifier remains in local storage until you clear site data. The visit identifier lasts for the current page load, the demo security trace cookie lasts up to 30 days, and the Clarity choice remains until you clear it or change Analytics settings.
The demo endpoint does not write requests to a Clara application database. Demo details are written to hosting logs and may be copied to the configured notification provider. Those records follow the applicable provider and Clara account-retention settings; this website code does not enforce a separate deletion timer for them. Clara retains operational records only as needed for demo follow-up, security, troubleshooting, and applicable legal obligations.
Calculation plugin
The read-only calculation plugin processes non-identifying numeric scenario values such as mortgage amounts, rates, amortization periods, income totals, housing costs, debt totals, property values, secured balances, and an effective date. It returns calculation results, assumptions, warnings, and calculation provenance.
For this plugin specifically, the service records a server-generated request identifier, request method and path, response status, duration, and response size. Its application logs are configured not to contain tool inputs, calculation results, request bodies, IP addresses, account identifiers, or authentication secrets. Calculation inputs and results are processed transiently and are not stored in a Clara application database or written to plugin application logs. The limited plugin operational metadata is retained for up to 30 days under its hosting log-retention setting.
The plugin is hosted by Google Cloud in Montréal, Canada. The ChatGPT, Codex, Clara, or other client used to invoke it may separately process the prompt and returned result under that client's terms. Clara does not use plugin inputs for advertising, behavioural profiling, lender selection, borrower approval, or automated credit decisions.
Your choices and privacy contact
Use Analytics settings to allow or decline Microsoft Clarity. Browser controls can clear local storage, cookies, and other site data. You may contact Clara to ask about website or demo information, request access or correction, request deletion where applicable, or withdraw consent for future optional uses. Do not email borrower documents, credentials, government identifiers, or other sensitive values.
